Blood pressure is measured in mmHg (millimeters of mercury), not bar or psi. A healthy reading is below 120/80 mmHg. High blood pressure (hypertension) is defined as 130/80 mmHg or higher. For reference: 120 mmHg systolic = 0.160 bar = 2.32 psi.

FIFA regulations require a match soccer ball to be inflated to 0.6–1.1 bar (8.7–16 psi) above atmospheric pressure. Most balls are inflated to about 0.8–0.9 bar (11.6–13 psi) gauge pressure. An NFL American football is inflated to 12.5–13.5 psi (0.86–0.93 bar) gauge.
